Fencing Project Description
In January 2007 Bluedog Fences was contracted for 4 years under a schedule of rates agreement to manufacture, supply and install school fencing at public schools throughout NSW. Our first allotment of sites required us to complete 8 sites in the Sydney metropolitan region.
We have gone on to install school security fencing at over 50 sites since this initial award, including at Tweed Heads, Casino, Lismore, Grafton, Broken Hill, Walgett, Lightning Ridge, Peak Hill, Dubbo, Metford, Kurri Kurri, Bathurst, Castle Hill and Liverpool.

Specific Challenges of the Fencing
- Bluedog was required to develop and implement new products and installation techniques in accordance with the new DET specifications in a very short time to ensure completion dates were met.
- We developed tapered roller bearing hinges for ease of operation and extended service life of the gates.
