Participants in Trade Waste Regulation course visit Bluedog’s Tamworth manufacturing plant

On 28 June 2009 the participants in the Tamworth Trade Waste Regulation course visited the factory of Bluedog Fences Australia. The course is conducted by the NSW Department of Water and Energy in order to train Council Officers in best-practice in regulation of sewerage and trade waste discharges in non-metropolitan NSW .

The course program includes inspections of businesses generating liquid trade waste where the course participants learn about treatment processes. The visit to Bluedog Fences was one of the industrial sites visited in Tamworth.

Bluedog’s Systems manager, Damon Isherwood, talked the participants through the waste water treatment processes and hardware used by Bluedog and fielded questions.
