School Security Fencing NSW North Coast

On 1st July 2010, The Daily Examiner (North Coast NSW) published a story headed ‘By all means, fence us in’ addressing community views of security fencing around local schools including Grafton High School that Bluedog installed fencing around in September 2008.

The article states:

"…The fences have worked to reduce incidences of break-ins for Grafton High, South Grafton High and also South Grafton Public schools. Grafton High School reported 24 security incidents, mostly vandalism and trespass in the year before the fence was erected in October 2008, that number drastically reduced since its completion.

"The DET spokesman added schools with security fencing reported significant reductions in break and enters and vandalism.

"A random sample of schools which had fences completed in the first half of 2005 together reported a drop in illegal entry of 68 per cent in the following six months compared with the last six months of 2004, and the corresponding figure for vandalism was a drop of 75 per cent."

During every phase of the project, from planning to completion, I found Bluedog Fences to be very professional in all aspects of their operation. The critical issues of Child Protection and OH&S were always a priority with all protocols being adhered to.
