GuardForce Max® is our highest intruder resistant welded mesh fencing system.

PRODUCT OUTLINE

GuardForce Max® is our proprietary system specifically designed to prevent unauthorised access to critical and high hazard assets, such as data storage facilities and high voltage substations. The standard arrangement is a 3000mm high sheet secured with tamper resistant bolts and security nuts to heavy I beam posts and heavy angled top and bottom rail. 354 mesh denotes vertical wires resistance welded at 3 inch centres (75mm), horizontal wires at 0.5 inch centres (12.5mm) using a 4 gauge (Ø5.6mm) vertical wire.

This tight wire spacing and heavier wire makes the panel even harder to climb without the aid of tools and more time consuming to cut. All steel work is hot dip galvanised after fabrication and the wire of the mesh panel has a zinc alloy finish making the assembly highly corrosion resistant. • Standard panel height: 3000mm.

• Intermediate post: 100UC I beam slotted to suit mesh.
• Horizontal wires Ø4mm drawn wire – Galfan Zinc Aluminium wire. Other proprietary names for Galfan include Bezinal (Baekart) and Zalcote (OneSteel).
• Vertical wires Ø5.6mm drawn wire - Galfan
• Wire Tensile strength 500-550 MPa (Complies with AS 2423 with a tensile strength of 500/ 625MPa)
• Welded to minimum 60-80% of wire tensile strength

• Straight barb extension to suit 5 strands of lean barbed wire and overlapping Ø550 loops of short blade razor barb.
• Canted barb extension to suit 5 strands of lean barbed wire and overlapping Ø550 loops of short blade razor barb.
• Concertina barb in self-support Ø550 loops of short blade razor barb that fix to the top rail of the fence.
• Serrated rail in a 50mm high profile that fixes to the top rail.

• For higher duty applications we recommend a single gate made with 100x50x3mm stiles and rails, and double gates from 75x75x3mm stiles and rails. For gate leaves greater than 2400mm we supply a modular two piece modular arrangement for manual handling and freight reasons up a maximum leaf width of 4000mm.

• For personnel access gates we recommend a ball bearing hinge that is secured to the gate stile and gate post with a combination of M8 bolts and 14g self-drilling tek screws.
• For larger single and double gates we recommend one of our Eternity® hinges that combine a sealed bearing hinge at the top and a greasable tapered roller bearing at the bottom. These hinges have a much higher capacity in terms of the weight and length of the gate and will give years of trouble free service. The top hinge can be adjusted to raise or lower the level of the gate leaf. The assembly consists of a post bracket that is screwed to the gate post with four M10 stainless steel fasteners and a bracket that inserts into the gate stile.
• For self-closing gate applications we recommend a hydraulic self closing hinge. This unit has adjustable tension and screws the gate stile and gate post on site with a series of 14g self-drilling tek screws and M8 bolts.

• For low to medium duty applications for a gate opening up to 5800mm we recommend a modular track sliding gates made with 75x75x3mm stiles and rails. These units are supplied with all the necessary hardware for manual operation and are readily assembled on site.
• For higher duty applications for a gate opening up to 8500mm we recommend our modular track sliding gate made with 100x100 stiles and rails. These units are supplied with all the necessary hardware for manual operation and are readily assembled on site.

• For basic and medium security applications we recommend our Bolt’nLock® Ø20mm slide bolt and Ø16mm drop bolt combination. These units are easily fitted on site and suit a standard padlock.
• For higher security applications we recommend our Bolt’nLock® Ø30mm stainless steel slide bolt and Ø20mm drop bolt combination. These units are welded to the gate frame during fabrication..
• Anti-climb hand hole that protects the internal locking hardware from attack but does not create a climb point.
• Dead-latch with panic lever for personnel access gates to be used in case of emergency.

• Hot dip galvanised after fabrication that will give a highly corrosion resistant finish to the fence.
• Polyester powder coat that will give a tough and long lasting colored finish to the fence.
